Royce Thompson Nightstar Part Night Photocells are reliable and efficient devices used for outdoor lighting control. These photocells are designed to automatically switch lights on at dusk and off at dawn, providing energy savings and convenience. The Part Night feature switches lights off at midnight and back on around 5:30am if required. For example in the summer months the lights wont come back on in the morning, but will in the winter months. This feature helps to further conserve energy while still maintaining visibility and security. Royce Thompson Nightstar Part Night Photocells are commonly used in street lighting, car parks, and other outdoor applications, providing a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution for nighttime illumination.

Royce Thompson Nightstar Miniature Using the same proved technology as its NEMA based counterpart, the Nightstar miniature is ideally suited to part night applications where a miniature photocell is required. Either to replace existing conventional miniature photocells, or for new applications in architectural, vandal resistant or ‘slimline’ luminaires.
